Astroniq is an AI assistant grounded in your real Vedic birth chart. We compute dasha periods, transits, and house placements the same way a traditional astrologer would, then use AI to translate the result into a plain-English answer. It's not a replacement for a human astrologer - but for everyday questions, it's faster and far more personal than a generic horoscope app.

Vedic-first. Sidereal zodiac, Lahiri ayanamsa, whole-sign houses, vimshottari dasha periods. This is the system most Indian astrologers use. We may add Western interpretation as an alternate lens in a future release, but the chart engine and the default reading lens are Vedic.

Knowing your exact birth time unlocks the most precise readings (ascendant, dashas, divisional charts). If you don't know it, we default to noon and clearly mark any reading that depends on the time as 'soft'. You can update the time later from the Me tab and every reading recalculates.

Birth place is just lat/long + timezone - Astroniq works for anywhere on Earth. The chart engine handles every timezone correctly, including historical DST rules.

Yes. On iOS, tap the Share button in Safari → 'Add to Home Screen'. On Android Chrome, hit the install prompt that appears after your second session. The installed app runs offline-friendly and gets push notifications.

Yes. Birth data is never sold to third parties, never used to train public AI models, and never appears in advertising. It's stored encrypted and only used to compute your chart for the readings you ask for. You can export everything or delete your account from the Me tab - see /privacy for the full policy.

Astroniq is informational, not advice. Questions about self-harm or crisis get routed to verified helplines (India: iCALL, Vandrevala Foundation; international helpline numbers shown by region) instead of an AI reply. For medical, legal, or financial decisions, please consult a qualified professional.

No. Your chat is used only to give you the next reply in the same conversation. We don't fine-tune models on user content. The LLM provider (Gemini / Groq) is contractually prohibited from training on API requests per their enterprise terms.

The app shell + your previously-viewed chart and conversation history work offline. Chat requires a network connection (the AI lives on a server). Push notifications get delivered when you come back online.

Google Gemini 2.5 Flash as the primary, with Groq's Llama as automatic fallback if Gemini is unavailable. Model selection is invisible to the user - the chart-attached context layer is the same regardless of which model serves the reply.
