Numerology

What each number means

Nine digits, nine temperaments. Each page covers the ruling planet, how the number reads as your Mulank, your Bhagyank and your name number - and what it asks of you.

Work out your own numbers

Your Mulank comes from the day you were born; your Bhagyank sums the whole date. Both are free, no signup.

Numbers you choose

A birth number is given. A vehicle or mobile number is picked - so it is worth picking well.

Numerology is not part of classical Vedic astrology. The digit-to-planet mapping used here is the standard Indian convention, but it was grafted onto Jyotish from the Chaldean and Pythagorean traditions rather than derived from its texts, and the different schools disagree on the finer rules. Read a number as a description of temperament, not as a forecast - and no number is lucky or unlucky in itself.
