Cancer this week
The Moon spends most of this week in Sagittarius - your sixth house, the house of work, health, daily routine, and obstacles. That is where the week's weight sits for Cancer.
The week, day by day
Vedic weekly rashifal follows the Moon: it holds a sign for roughly two and a quarter days, so a week is three or four distinct stretches rather than one mood. Counted from Cancer:
| Dates | Moon in | Your house | Theme |
|---|---|---|---|
| 12 October – 13 October | Libra | 4th | home, roots, mother, and inner peace |
| 14 October – 15 October | Scorpio | 5th | creativity, romance, children, and intelligence |
| 16 October – 18 October | Sagittarius | 6th | work, health, daily routine, and obstacles |

How this is calculated
Every date above is the Moon's real sidereal position, not a template. The house is whole-sign, counted from Cancer - which is why the same week reads differently for each of the twelve rashis. Check any of it against a panchang.
About Cancer
Cancer leads with emotion and care - nurturing, intuitive, tied to home and family. The shadow is moodiness and clinging to the past.

Frequently asked
- Is this Cancer weekly horoscope based on my Moon sign or Sun sign?
- Your Moon sign (Rashi). Vedic weekly readings track the Moon's transit against it, which is why they differ from Western horoscopes cast on the Sun sign. The free Moon Sign Calculator will tell you yours.
- What week does this Cancer horoscope cover?
- Monday to Sunday - currently 12 October – 18 October 2026. The page recasts as the week turns, from the Moon's actual positions for those dates.
- Why does the reading change partway through the week?
- Because the Moon changes sign roughly every two and a quarter days. Each change moves it into a different house from your rashi, which is a genuinely different theme - so the table above dates each stretch rather than averaging them into one paragraph.
