- What is Vastu Shastra?
- Vastu Shastra is a traditional Indian system of architecture and directional placement. It maps each of the eight directions (plus the centre) to an element and a set of ideal uses, and reads misplacements as 'doshas' with suggested remedies. It is a classical design tradition with regional variants and no scientific backing.
- Do I need my birth details?
- No. Vastu is about a space, not a person - you only tell us which way the main door faces and what sits in each direction. A chart-personalised layer is a separate, optional feature.
- What is an alignment score?
- It's a transparent 0-100 measure of how closely your layout follows the classical ideal - not a measure of luck. A dosha means 'not aligned with the classical layout', never a prediction of misfortune, and remedies lead with the cheapest, least-disruptive option.
