Sagittarius this week
The Moon spends most of this week in Cancer - your eighth house, the house of depth, transformation, shared resources, and the hidden. That is where the week's weight sits for Sagittarius.
The week, day by day
Vedic weekly rashifal follows the Moon: it holds a sign for roughly two and a quarter days, so a week is three or four distinct stretches rather than one mood. Counted from Sagittarius:
| Dates | Moon in | Your house | Theme |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 October – 6 October | Cancer | 8th | depth, transformation, shared resources, and the hidden |
| 7 October – 8 October | Leo | 9th | luck, belief, higher learning, and the long journey |
| 9 October – 10 October | Virgo | 10th | career, status, and public life |
| 11 October | Libra | 11th | friendships, networks, gains, and big goals |

How this is calculated
Every date above is the Moon's real sidereal position, not a template. The house is whole-sign, counted from Sagittarius - which is why the same week reads differently for each of the twelve rashis. Check any of it against a panchang.
About Sagittarius
Sagittarius chases truth, travel, and the bigger picture - optimistic and blunt. The lesson is follow-through over restless seeking.

Frequently asked
- Is this Sagittarius weekly horoscope based on my Moon sign or Sun sign?
- Your Moon sign (Rashi). Vedic weekly readings track the Moon's transit against it, which is why they differ from Western horoscopes cast on the Sun sign. The free Moon Sign Calculator will tell you yours.
- What week does this Sagittarius horoscope cover?
- Monday to Sunday - currently 5 October – 11 October 2026. The page recasts as the week turns, from the Moon's actual positions for those dates.
- Why does the reading change partway through the week?
- Because the Moon changes sign roughly every two and a quarter days. Each change moves it into a different house from your rashi, which is a genuinely different theme - so the table above dates each stretch rather than averaging them into one paragraph.
