Today for Sagittarius
The Moon is on your own sign today, so whatever you feel, you'll feel at full volume - and other people will read it off you before you say anything.
Why today reads this way
The Moon is transiting Sagittarius today, which is your first house counted from Sagittarius - the house of the self, body, and how you meet the world. That placement is what shapes the reading above, and it's the same method a Vedic astrologer uses for a daily rashifal: gochar measured from your Moon sign, not your Sun sign.
Where to put your energy
Lean into Anything that needs your presence rather than your planning, Eating and sleeping properly, and Saying the thing directly.
What to watch for
Go easy on Treating a passing mood as a permanent verdict, and Deciding something big while feeling raw.
The sky today
On Sunday, 18 October 2026, the Moon is in Purva Ashadha nakshatra, and the tithi is Saptami (Shukla paksha). These are the same panchang values every reading on this site is cast from.
About Sagittarius
Sagittarius chases truth, travel, and the bigger picture - optimistic and blunt. The lesson is follow-through over restless seeking.

Frequently asked
- Is this Sagittarius horoscope based on my Moon sign or Sun sign?
- Vedic astrology reads the daily transit against your Moon sign (Rashi). If you're unsure of yours, use the free Moon Sign Calculator - it's more personal than the Sun sign most Western horoscopes use.
- How often does the Sagittarius horoscope update?
- Daily. The reading is recast each day from the Moon's actual position, so it changes as the Moon moves signs (roughly every two and a quarter days) and nakshatras (about once a day).
- What does the Moon in Sagittarius mean for Sagittarius?
- Counted from Sagittarius, Sagittarius is your first house - the house of the self, body, and how you meet the world. In Vedic astrology the Moon moving through that house is what colours the day for your rashi, which is why every sign gets a different reading from the same sky.
