Today for Taurus
The Moon travels through your house of fortune, teachers and long journeys - the widest-view transit of the cycle.
Why today reads this way
The Moon is transiting Capricorn today, which is your ninth house counted from Taurus - the house of luck, belief, higher learning, and the long journey. That placement is what shapes the reading above, and it's the same method a Vedic astrologer uses for a daily rashifal: gochar measured from your Moon sign, not your Sun sign.

About Taurus
Taurus values comfort, security, and the tangible - patient and reliable, slow to change. The shadow is stubbornness and over-attachment to the familiar.

Frequently asked
- Is this Taurus horoscope based on my Moon sign or Sun sign?
- Vedic astrology reads the daily transit against your Moon sign (Rashi). If you're unsure of yours, use the free Moon Sign Calculator - it's more personal than the Sun sign most Western horoscopes use.
- How often does the Taurus horoscope update?
- Daily. The reading is recast each day from the Moon's actual position, so it changes as the Moon moves signs (roughly every two and a quarter days) and nakshatras (about once a day).
- What does the Moon in Capricorn mean for Taurus?
- Counted from Taurus, Capricorn is your ninth house - the house of luck, belief, higher learning, and the long journey. In Vedic astrology the Moon moving through that house is what colours the day for your rashi, which is why every sign gets a different reading from the same sky.
