The Lovers upright
Below the angel Raphael, two figures stand naked - no defences, no performance, only what they actually are.
The Lovers is less about romance than about choosing. What's the relationship you're really committing to: a person, a path, a version of yourself?
Honesty above the waist, honesty below.
The Lovers reversed
Reversed, the Lovers names the mismatch - values and actions out of step, or a choice made for the wrong reason.
The fix is usually not in the relationship but in what you're trying to get from it.
