What that means for a reading
Two competent astrologers using the two systems on one birth can disagree about which house a planet is in, which planet is giving its results, and whether a matter is promised. Neither has miscalculated. This is worth saying plainly because the usual framing - that KP is 'more accurate' - is a claim about results that neither system has established against the other in any way an outsider can check.
Which to use
The honest answer is that they answer slightly different questions. Parashari is stronger on character, life-direction and the shape of a period; KP is built for yes-or-no timing questions and says so. A reader deciding between them is better served by asking what they want to know than by asking which system is right.
